Wadiaa Khoury, PhD, is Associate Professor at the Faculties of Education of the Lebanese University and Université Saint-Joseph. She has studied approaches to citizenship education in more than 20 countries, and is working to empower educators to help shape Lebanese policy instead of bearing the consequences of poor governance. This led her to initiate Teachers as Agents of Social Change in Lebanon.
